This study aims to determine the influence of thread parameters of wood screws on withdrawal capacity. Threaded test objects were used for this purpose. This allowed the thread parameters to be varied selectively. Investigated parameters were: thread height a, lead P, lead angle φ, and thread angle α. For this, they were varied on two factor levels. This results in a total of 16 threaded test objects (GP_A to GP_P). The influences in spruce were investigated for a tangential screw-in direction. The threaded test objects can be examined in one screw-in direction at different planes RT and TL of the thread to the wood fiber. The pull-out tests were performed based on EN 1382 (2016).
