In this contribution experimental data of heat transfer and pressure drop for a turbulent tube flow of water and the liquid metal alloy GaInSn, with azimuthally homogeneous and inhomogeneous heat flux distribution is provided. For the inhomogeneous case, the heat flux was only applied over the half of the tube's outer circumference. The Reynolds number of the flow was varied for water in the range of $5\cdot10^3 < Re_{Water} <4.2\cdot10^4$ and for GaInSn $8\cdot10^3 < Re_{GaInSn} < 1\cdot10^5$.
